P resenten we got, a silver pear (Pyrus slicifolia) cured olives Pendula. How happy I will be when you get gifts that you really, really want but might not run and buy. Before I planted it and we'll be ready with pool construction. I hope it can handle a shorter time in the pot so far. I'm afraid that it may be harmed by the construction workers and machinery.
There were some little fruit is also not good solid birds like them, I read. I'm more looking for Mediterranean feeling, of course. Like the silver-green color of the leaves and a bit gnarled cured olives trunk. Can grow up to 8 feet high. (No, I do not think it gets here.)

I put my silver pear for approximately three years ago. It is completely covered with white flowers right now! I did not know that the fruits cured olives were popular with the birds. They sit and maybe munching on them behind my back :-) Agree that it is Mediterranean feel to it. Therefore, I put it in the "pool rebate". Everything to dream away to warmer countries. Good luck with the pool construction! / Sylvia ReplyDelete
