II IMPLEMENTATION OF THE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR first quarter of 2012/2013
8. Mr. Speaker, you will recall that in the budget we passed Assembly Government Budget for the year 2012/2013 a total of Tshs 15.19. Mr. Speaker, in terms of revenue generated by the importation of goods from Importer, in the first quarter of the year, tax collections due to the importation of goods from outside the State (including Customs Duty, Value Added Tax and Excise Duty) was Tshs 616.1 billion, which is 90.2 percent of the estimated collect 683.1 billion shillings.
10. About Revenue generated by domestic sales, net revenue collections in the first quarter was 407.4 billion shillings which is equivalent to 90.1 percent of the estimated 452.1 billion shillings collection
